    Job Description

    Please note: This is an on-site position in Greensboro, NC.

    The overall purpose of the role is to manage the Health Services Clinic at the Greensboro site under the direction of the Health Services Manager and HSE team. This position includes management of day-to-day operations of the Greensboro Health Services Clinic. This position will assist with the promotion and support of the company’s health and wellness programs and will help position the clinic as a value-added benefit for Syngenta.

    Accountabilities :

    • Ensure the confidentiality of employee medical records and personal information per HIPAA guidelines.
    • Administer medical care and treatment to all clinic patients within the guidelines and protocols established by the medical director and Health Services directives, policies, and procedures.
    • Provide onsite coordination of examinations, treatment, and preventive measures related to the health of employees.
    • Responsible for medical documentation and management of patient record lifecycle.
    • Provide compliance health screenings through wellness and pre-placement physical assessments and exams.
    • Coordinate and communicate with HR Business Partners during the pre-placement process.
    • Manage and coordinate special screening programs (i.e. flu shot clinic etc.).
    • Administer flu vaccine and other immunizations for employees and employee’s spouses through onsite clinic through various clinic programs.
  • Qualifications

    Qualifications

    Required:

    • A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in nursing or other health related field.
    • Must have current RN license in NC.

    Preferred:

    • Minimum of 5 years nursing experience; with an emphasis on experience in occupation health and/or emergency medical care and management.
    • COHN-S
    • Preferred candidates should have a working knowledge of worker’s compensation and relative state laws.
    • Preferred candidates should have experience with and knowledge of OSHA guidelines desired.
