Job Posting: Occupational Therapy Assistant

Position: Full-Time Location: Newport, NH 03773 Start Date: August 24, 2026 End Date: June 15, 2027

We are seeking a dedicated Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA) to join our school-based team in Newport, NH. The OTA will work under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist to support students’ functional skills, independence, and participation in the educational environment.

Responsibilities:

Implement treatment plans designed by the supervising Occupational Therapist.

Provide direct therapy services to students in school settings.

Assist with documentation of student progress and maintain compliance with state and district requirements.

Collaborate with teachers, families, and support staff to promote student success.

Qualifications:

Associate’s degree from an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program.

Current NH licensure/certification as an Occupational Therapy Assistant.

Experience in school-based or pediatric settings preferred.

Strong communication and collaboration skills.
