What You’ll Do

As an Occupational Therapist, you will:

Evaluate and assess patients’ abilities in daily living skills, motor skills, sensory awareness, and independent living.

Develop personalized treatment plans and set achievable goals tailored to each individual’s needs.

Deliver therapy services in day programs and home settings, collaborating with families and staff for holistic care.

Document progress and maintain accurate records in compliance with policies and regulations.

Provide guidance and supervision to Occupational Therapy Assistants when needed.

Ensure compliance with all service and billing regulations.

Maintain a minimum caseload of 10 individuals (approximately 4 hours of therapy).

What We’re Looking For

Education: Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy.

Experience: At least 2 years working with individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities.

Licensure: Current NY State license in Occupational Therapy.

IPSIDD approval preferred.

Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills.

Ability to work independently, manage multiple tasks, and maintain confidentiality.
