Occupational Therapist – Home Health Care

Location: Northern Macomb County
Schedule: 24 hours per week, day shift
On-Call Requirements: Minimum of one weekend per month, plus one summer holiday and one winter holiday
Compensation & Benefits: $6,000 sign-on bonus; eligible for part-time benefits

_ The position will be in the Territory of Northern Macomb County The cities will include but are not limited to:_

** Armada, Ray, Macomb, Richmond, New Haven/Lenox, New Baltimore, Chesterfield, Columbus, Casco, Fair Haven, Ira**

Responsibilities:

Under the supervision of the site Team Leader or Supervisor, the Occupational Therapist will:

• Conduct engaging OT evaluations and deliver dynamic treatment that helps patients reclaim their independence and confidence
• Build meaningful connections with patients, collaborate with our care team, and keep everyone in the loop with clear, thorough documentation
• Lead and empower your Assistant and tech team to deliver exceptional patient-centered care
• Keep our billing accurate and organized so we can focus on what matters most—helping our patients thrive

Qualifications

EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor's Degree in Occupational Therapy.
• Master's Degree, preferred.

LICENSE/CERTIFICATIONS

• Current State of Michigan Registration and National board for Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT) certification.

WORKING CONDITIONS

• Patient care setting with potential exposure to communicable disease.
• Limited noise, temperature fluctuation and dust are possible.
