_ Occupational Therapist - Home Health Care_

Location: Northern Macomb County
Schedule: 40 hours per week, day shift
On-Call Requirements: Minimum of one weekend per month, plus one summer holiday and one winter holiday
Compensation & Benefits: $10,000 sign-on bonus; eligible for full-time benefits

_ The position will be in the Territory of Northern Macomb County The cities will include but are not limited to:_

** Armada, Ray, Macomb, Richmond, New Haven/Lenox, New Baltimore, Chesterfield, Columbus, Casco, Fair Haven, Ira**

General Summary

Under the supervision of the site Team Leader or Supervisor, the Occupational Therapist will:

• Conduct OT evaluations and deliver engaging treatment that makes a real difference in patients' lives—helping them regain independence and confidence in their daily activities.
• Be the communication champion between patients, coworkers, physicians, and the broader care team—keeping everyone in the loop and ensuring stellar documentation of all patient care activities.
• Lead and support your team by supervising and delegating to Assistants and techs, empowering them to deliver excellent care.
• Keep the billing side running smoothly by completing accurate and timely patient billing information—because great care deserves great documentation!

Qualifications

EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor's Degree in Occupational Therapy.
• Master's Degree, preferred.

LICENSE/CERTIFICATIONS

• Current State of Michigan Registration and National board for Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT) certification.

WORKING CONDITIONS

• Patient care setting with potential exposure to communicable disease.
• Limited noise, temperature fluctuation and dust are possible.
