General Summary

Under the supervision of the site Team Leader or Supervisor, the Occupational Therapist will:

• Deliver dynamic OT evaluations and treatment that make a real difference in patients' lives and help them thrive in their home environments.
• Connect and collaborate with patients, coworkers, physicians, and other team members to ensure everyone's on the same page about patient care needs—and keep meticulous documentation that tells the complete story.
• Lead and empower your Assistant and tech team members, delegating tasks strategically to maximize impact and build a strong care team.
• Keep the wheels turning by managing accurate and timely patient billing information so our team can focus on what matters most: patient care.

Qualifications

EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor's Degree in Occupational Therapy.
• Master's Degree, preferred.

LICENSE/CERTIFICATIONS

• Current State of Michigan Registration and National board for Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT) certification.

WORKING CONDITIONS

• Patient care setting with potential exposure to communicable disease.
• Limited noise, temperature fluctuation and dust are possible.
