_ Occupational Therapist - Home Health Care_

Location: South-East Macomb County
Schedule: 40 hours per week, day shift
On-Call Requirements: Minimum of one weekend per month, plus one summer holiday and one winter holiday
Compensation & Benefits: $10,000 sign-on bonus; eligible for full-time benefits

_ The position will be in the Territory of South-East Macomb County The cities will include but are not limited to:_

_ Eastpointe, Centerline, Grosse Pointe, Harper Woods, Roseville, St. Clair Shores, Warren. _

General Summary

Under the supervision of the site Team Leader or Supervisor, the Occupational Therapist will:

• Conduct comprehensive OT evaluations and deliver engaging treatment sessions that help patients reclaim independence and confidence in their daily lives
• Build strong relationships and collaborate enthusiastically with patients, families, physicians, and team members—keeping everyone in the loop with clear, thorough documentation
• Lead and mentor your Assistant and tech team, empowering them to deliver exceptional patient care
• Keep billing accurate and organized so we can focus on what matters most: helping our patients thrive

Qualifications

EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor's Degree in Occupational Therapy.
• Master's Degree, preferred.

LICENSE/CERTIFICATIONS

• Current State of Michigan Registration and National board for Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT) certification.

WORKING CONDITIONS

• Patient care setting with potential exposure to communicable disease.
• Limited noise, temperature fluctuation and dust are possible.
