About the Role:

Little Steps 1, Inc is looking for a passionate and dedicated Occupational Therapist to join our team in Rego Park, NY! Responsibilities:

Evaluate patients' physical, cognitive, and developmental needs to develop individualized treatment plans

Implement evidence-based OT interventions to improve patients' functional abilities and independence

Monitor and document patient progress, adjusting treatment plans as needed

Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams including physicians, speech therapists, and physical therapists

Educate patients and caregivers on therapeutic techniques and home exercise programs

Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in compliance with regulatory standards

Participate in team meetings, case reviews, and continuing education opportunities

Requirements:

Master's or Doctoral degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program

Valid New York State Occupational Therapist license or eligibility to obtain licensure

Experience working with geriatric populations preferred

Strong knowledge of sensory integration, ADLs, and rehabilitative therapy techniques

Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills

Compassionate, patient-centered approach to care
