Position Summary We are seeking a passionate, patient-focused Pediatric Occupational Therapist to join our dynamic and collaborative team. In this role, you will primarily provide care to children with developmental, physical, or cognitive challenges. Your mission will be to help young patients achieve independence in daily activities through customized therapy plans that engage, encourage, and inspire progress. This position will primarily be at our Brighton location, located inside Laugh and Learn ABA Center. You will be working along side Speech Language Pathologists to help give our patients the best care.
Key Responsibilities
Deliver individualized occupational therapy services to pediatric patients to promote independence in play, learning, self-care, and social participation
Use developmentally appropriate therapy models and creative interventions to support progress in fine motor skills, sensory integration, coordination, and emotional regulation
Educate and empower parents, caregivers, and teachers to support therapy goals in the child’s daily life
Document evaluations, treatment plans, progress notes, and discharge summaries in a timely, accurate manner
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure cohesive care planning and best outcomes for children
Stay current on pediatric therapy practices, tools, and innovations
Preferred Skills & Qualifications
Strong foundation in pediatric occupational therapy principles and practices
Experience working with children of varying developmental levels and diagnoses (e.g., autism spectrum disorder, sensory processing disorder, ADHD, etc.)
Creative and playful approach to engaging children in therapy
Excellent communication skills, especially in working with families and caregivers
Licensed Occupational Therapist in good standing
Evening availability required (2–3 evenings per week until 7pm)
Hours may vary between 8am and 7pm (hours may vary, depending on caseload)
