About the Role

Physicians Rehab Solution is expanding and now hiring an Occupational Therapist and/or Certified Hand Therapist to join the outpatient orthopedic team at OrthoVirginia in Blacksburg, Virginia.

Full-time is preferred, with up to 40 hours per week available. Part-time and PRN candidates will also be considered. The ideal candidate is personable, motivated, and skilled in communication.

Caseload and Patient Population

The Occupational Therapist hired will work in a dynamic outpatient orthopedic environment, treating patients with a range of post-operative and conservative hand, shoulder, and upper extremity diagnoses.

Full-time therapists typically treat an average of 11 patients per day.

Compensation and Benefits

The starting salary for this full-time position is approximately seventy-five thousand dollars per year and increases based on experience and qualifications. Bonus opportunities are also available.

Work Schedule

Clinic hours are Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Flexible scheduling options are available based on the needs of the clinician and the clinic.

Job Requirements

• Eligible for Virginia state licensure as an Occupational Therapist

• Certified Hand Therapist preferred but not required

• Prior outpatient orthopedic experience with hand, shoulder, and upper extremity cases preferred

• New graduates will be supported and mentored

• Must be legally eligible to work in the United States
