    Fitness for Health is expanding and hiring full-time and part-time Pediatric Occupational Therapists in Rockville, Maryland. Full-time availability is preferred, and candidates with experience in sensory integration, autism spectrum disorders, developmental and genetic disorders, and learning disabilities are strongly encouraged to apply.

    About the Role

    You will provide occupational therapy services to pediatric clients in a state-of-the-art, technology-forward outpatient clinic featuring innovative multi-sensory equipment and high-tech exergaming tools designed to help children develop new skills and maximize their potential. Responsibilities include creating engaging, individualized therapy sessions, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team, and maintaining documentation using Clinic Source EMR. Dedicated time is built into the schedule for notes, calls, and other duties. This is a clinical environment where dual-tasking and multitasking are part of the daily routine.

    Schedule

    The clinic is open seven days a week. Typical full-time schedules run Sunday through Thursday from 10:00am to 7:00pm, or Tuesday through Saturday from 10:00am to 7:00pm. Flexibility is available based on candidate availability. The ability to work one weekend day per week is required.

    Compensation and Benefits

    The salary range for a full-time position is $75,000 to $90,000 per year based on experience and qualifications. Full-time employees receive benefits including health insurance, vacation time, and continuing education allowances.

    Qualifications

    Candidates must be eligible for Maryland state licensure as an Occupational Therapist. Prior experience in pediatrics, including autism spectrum disorders, developmental and genetic disorders, and learning disabilities is preferred. Experience or training in sensory integration and sensory modulation is highly desired. A high-energy, creative personality and enthusiasm for working with children are essential. Full-time availability of 40 hours per week is preferred, and part-time candidates with flexible scheduling are also welcome to apply. New graduate OTs will be considered but must be prepared to work independently without a structured mentorship program.
