    Job Title: Occupational Therapist - Outpatient

    Rate: Up to $2275.00 weekly

    Location: Stockbridge, GA

    Day (8H)

    Qualifications & Requirements

    Education

    • Current Occupational Therapist (OT) license in the state of employment.
    • Minimum 1 year of outpatient experience required.
    • Experience working with adult and geriatric populations strongly preferred.
    • Strong clinical assessment, treatment planning, and problem-solving skills.
    • Excellent communication and patient engagement skills.
    • Ability to manage a varied caseload and work independently.

    Preferred Qualifications:

    • Experience with upper extremity rehab, post-operative therapy, or neuro outpatient caseloads.
    • Certification in specialized treatment techniques (e.g., Lymphedema, Hand Therapy, NDT) is a plus.

    Experience

    • Previous experience occupational therapy setting is preferred.

    Licenses/Certifications

    • Must hold a valid state license to practice occupational therapy
    • AHA BLS certification required.

     

    Key Responsibilities

    • Perform comprehensive evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans for adult and geriatric patients in an outpatient setting.
    • Provide therapeutic interventions to improve function, mobility, strength, coordination, and activities of daily living (ADLs).
    • Implement evidence-based therapeutic techniques tailored to each patient’s goals and diagnosis.
    • Document evaluations, progress notes, and discharge summaries accurately and timely in accordance with facility and regulatory requirements.
    • Educate patients and families on home exercise programs, adaptive equipment, and techniques to support independence and safety.
    • Collaborate closely with physicians, PTs, SLPs, and other healthcare team members to ensure coordinated patient care.
    • Maintain a safe and supportive treatment environment and adhere to all safety and infection control protocols.
    • Participate in team meetings, ongoing professional development, and performance improvement initiatives.

    Position Summary:
    We are seeking a skilled and patient-focused Occupational Therapist to join our outpatient rehabilitation team in Stockbridge, GA. The OT will provide individualized treatment to adult and geriatric patients with a variety of musculoskeletal, neurological, and functional needs. This position requires strong clinical skills, excellent communication, and the ability to work independently within an interdisciplinary team.
