Job Summary
Selectively hiring for PRN Home Health Occupational Therapist (OTR). We are an elite home health therapy team. We are not looking for just employees, we are looking for autonomous individuals to contract with to provide compassionate therapy services. You are your own boss. Responsibilities of the Occupational Therapist (OTR)
Assess and evaluate patient care needs, including Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), transfers and mobility, home modifications, endurance and stamina, pain, and other medical conditions
Develop and implement individualized plans of care
Provide skilled interventions to improve patient independence and overall well-being
Educate patients and caregivers
Complete documentation and access care plans using company software
Participate in staff and administrative meetings
Qualifications
Active license with the Florida Board of Occupational Therapy
Valid Florida driver’s license, auto insurance, and reliable transportation
Ability to pass AHCA Clearinghouse background screening (https://info.flclearinghouse.com)
Current in-person CPR certification
Physical ability to stand, bend, reach, squat, kneel frequently, lift/move patients and equipment
Strong customer service and communication skills, and effective listening
Efficient and timely documentation
Experience
Minimum 1 year of Occupational Therapy experience preferred
Minimum 1 year of Home Health experience preferred
Compensation
Pay is commensurate with years of Occupational Therapy experience, home health background, and documentation proficiency
