Job Summary

We are seeking an Pediatric Occupational Therapist to join our team for a Preschool Screening Role!

About Us

Primes Pediatric Development Center is a warm, family centered pediatric clinic in Dumont, NJ. We serve children from birth to six in a calm, respectful environment where therapists feel supported and valued.

About the Role

We are hiring an Occupational Therapist to conduct short, structured developmental screenings for young children in community based settings. This role does not include treatment sessions and involves minimal documentation, offering steady morning hours and a low stress, predictable schedule. Mileage and transportation costs are reimbursed.

Schedule

7 to 20 hours per week

Minimum of 7 paid hours guaranteed

Morning hours only

W2 hourly position

Opportunity to add hours only if you choose to

Responsibilities

Conduct short developmental screenings for young children

Document findings clearly and briefly

Collaborate with our clinic team as needed

Requirements

Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy

Active New Jersey OT license

Comfort working with children ages 3 to 5

Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Reliability, punctuality, and strong time management

Ability to work independently in community based settings

Pediatric experience is a plus but not required (Candidates with pediatric fieldwork are welcome)
