    Compensation Range: $40.82 – $51.03/hour
    Sign-On Bonus: $5,000 (1-year commitment) OR $10,000 (2-year commitment)
    Relocation Assistance: $2,500 (1-year commitment) OR $5,000 (2-year commitment)
    Housing: 3 months provided

    Position Summary

    We are seeking a skilled Occupational Therapist (OT) to join our team at Onvida Health. This position is responsible for evaluating, planning, administering, and supervising occupational therapy treatment in accordance with physician referrals, state and local standards, regulatory agencies, and departmental policies. The OT demonstrates clinical competence and provides age-appropriate care to patients.

    Core Responsibilities

    • Evaluate patients’ functional abilities, identify limitations, and determine need for intervention.

    • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans with measurable, patient-centered goals.

    • Document evaluations, treatment plans, and progress in accordance with departmental and regulatory standards.

    • Communicate effectively with physicians, nurses, patients, families, and interdisciplinary teams.

    • Provide direction and delegation to COTAs, therapy technicians, and students while ensuring competency and safety.

    • Participate in department and facility process improvements, including meeting productivity standards.

    • Demonstrate flexibility in assignments and assist in various patient care areas as needed.

    Minimum Qualifications

    • Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy (preferred).

    • Active Occupational Therapist license in Arizona.

    • BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required.

    • Occupational Therapist Registered (OTR) preferred.

    • Minimum 1 year hospital experience preferred.

    • Must reside 100+ miles from Onvida Health or be willing to relocate to Yuma, AZ.

    • Ability to work effectively with computer software applications commonly used in patient care environments.

    Preferred Qualifications

    • Experience in hospital or acute care settings.

    • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

    • Proven clinical competency and ability to collaborate with interdisciplinary teams.
