The Westerly-Pawcatuck Branch is seeking a Full-Time Aquatics Specialist to join our team of lifeguards and assist with the swim team. This is 40hr/week, exempt position.

Responsibilities include:

• Working under the direction of the Aquatics Director to develop and manage a safe Aquatics program for members and participants.
• Recruiting, hiring, and supervising all lifeguards at the branch.
• Providing Lifeguard coverage at branch and as needed.
• Oversight of the Head Coach for the Swim Team
• Assist with administrative duties for the Swim Team
• Maintain accurate records on all volunteers in the swim team program.

Qualified applicants must:

• Have 3-5 years Aquatics experience
• Possess current Lifeguard and YUSA Swim Coach certifications
• Be experienced in supervising and leading others
• Hold CPR/AED/First Aid/Emergency Oxygen Administration Certifications-American Red Cross preferred
