POSITION SUMMARY
The Communications Manager will lead communications efforts surrounding Ocean Conservancy’s Plastics Initiative, a subset of Ocean Conservancy’s Trash Free Seas® (TFS) program that includes its corporate engagement and international policy work. The TFS program is Ocean Conservancy’s largest conservation program, housing our annual International Coastal Cleanup, as well as growing science and domestic policy portfolios. The Communications Manager will report to the Senior Communications Manager as a member of the communications department and will support their department colleagues with other TFS-related and institutional PR and strategic communications efforts as necessary.

COMPENSATION
Ocean Conservancy is committed to equity in its pay practices and posts expected hiring ranges for each of its positions. We are targeting a hiring range of $61,200 - $84,000, which will be commensurate with the candidate’s specialty skills, years of experience, location and unique background. We are open to feedback from the market and would welcome the ability to connect with potential candidates whose salary requirements may be outside of the expected hiring range.
