OPPORTUNITY Come join the Ocean Lending Home Loans team as a full-time Mortgage Loan Processor.

SUCCESS IN ROLE

• Review applications and loan documents for completeness and accuracy ensuring compliance with Ocean Lending policies and state and federal regulatory requirements. Includes monitoring of department reports, documenting status information through workflow, preparing disclosures and closing packages or Adverse Action Notices as needed.

• Manage imaging and indexing of loan documents from internal departments, third-party vendors or external business partners such as title companies, brokers, and loan customers.

• Monitor lending production and/or processing staff’s adherence to regulatory compliance by reviewing loan documents, workflows, and audit results.

• Communicate by phone, written or electronic communication with internal and external customers, (e.g. internal lending staff, title companies, third-party vendors, business partners, loan customers, etc.) to accurately complete loan files within prescribed timeframes.

• Ensure all funding conditions are met prior to wire funding authorization.

REQUIREMENTS

• Knowledge of Encompass

• Demonstrate ability to operate independently and meet deadlines in time-sensitive

  situations.

• Thorough knowledge of loan processing and closing policies, procedures, documents,

  underwriting requirements, governmental and agency requirements, terminology, and

  automated processing systems.

• Demonstrate excellent communication skills and customer service.

• Prior Loan Processing experience is required.
