JOB FAMILY: Finance and Accounting
JOB TITLE: CREDIT ANALYST, AGENCY ACCOUNTING
ROLE SUMMARY: Responsible for overseeing the credit extension process and monitoring active accounts for compliance
ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Coordinates the investigation of credit applications with the offshore team
· Analyzes completed application files and provide approval proposals to department management
· Generates reporting tools to monitor customer payment trends
· Reviews credit accounts for compliance with granted terms and makes recommendations on suspension
· Acts as liaison between management and internal teams to revoke or suspend credit
· Analyzes all customer financial data to ensure accurate and timely recommendations for credit renewals
· Maintains, updates, and publishes AR reports for management
· Maintain updates and design of F&A intranet site for internal use
CORE REQUIRED SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES:
· Ability to evaluate data, analyze, and problem solve
· High level of both verbal and written communication skills
· Highly motivated with the ability to work independently and as a team member
· Strong analytical ability, acts objectively, and plans for long-term implications
· Ability to review and analyze customer financial statements, credit reporting agency data, bank information, and trade references to determine customer credit risk
FUNCTION SPECIFIC REQUIRED SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES:
· Accounts receivable experience required
· Previous credit analysis experience required
· Advanced user of Microsoft Excel and proficient user of other Microsoft Office applications
· Accurate, detail-oriented financial reporting skills
· Direct and effective communicator with external customers and internal commercial teams
· Experience with D&B reporting a plus
REQUIRED MINIMUM YEARS' EXPERIENCE:
3-5 years in accounts receivable and/or credit analyst experience is a must
REQUIRED MINIMUM EDUCATION: Bachelor’s Degree Preferred
