    Position Summary:

    The BCBA position at Ocean Psychological Services is responsible for supervision of Mid-level providers and BT's . We are looking for a clinical leader interested in fostering a learning/ can do environment for our staff. The desire to develop structure and incentives for the clinical team is a must and overall team player attitude is non-negotiable. Must be able to effectively communicate and work with Clinical and Operations Directors and executive leadership to help grow the company responsibly and ethically.

    Key Responsibilities:

    Provide regular supervision, professional development, and training to clinical staff including Mid-level's, and BT's. Ensure that all clinical staff adhere to best practices in ABA.

    Oversee the development, implementation, and evaluation of individualized ABA programs.

    Ensure that treatment plans meet the specific needs of each client and are based on current research.

    Provide support and counseling to families, ensuring they understand and are engaged in the ABA therapy process. Assist families in implementing strategies and interventions at home.

    Ensure all clinical practices comply with relevant laws, regulations, and ethical guidelines.

    Maintain client confidentiality and obtain informed consent.

    Collaborate with other professionals involved in the care of clients..

    Manage the delivery of clinical services offered (e.g., ABA, parent training, supervision).

    Provide feedback and review all clinical employee performance evaluations, annually.

    Meet with Mid-levels weekly to review caseload and client programs to ensure compliance and quality assurance.

    Manage Mid level’s across services offered.

    Attendance of staff meetings/in-service trainings

    Qualifications and Requirements:

    Strong understanding of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) principles and techniques

    Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills to interact effectively with clients, families, and team members

    Cultural sensitivity and awareness when working with clients from diverse backgrounds;

    Knowledgeable of methodologies found to benefit children with autism spectrum disorders, including Applied Behavioral Analysis (“ABA”), Early Start Denver Model (“ESDM”), Treatment and Education of Autistic and related Communication-Handicapped Children (“TEACCH”), Picture Exchange Communication System (“PECS”), and Pivotal Response Training (“PRT”)

    Knowledgeable of other community resources and agencies that serve children

    Able to consistently demonstrate good judgment and decision-making skills

    Able to exercise confidentiality and discretion pertaining to the work environment

    Able to appropriately interpret and implement policies, procedures, and regulations

    Knowledgeable and skilled in computer/word processing software

    Must have a minimum of 1 year experience practicing as a BCBA

    Must be able to communicate effectively, professionally, and openly both verbally and in writing

    Must demonstrate strong organizational skills, be detail oriented, and demonstrate an ability to maintain confidential records, prepare reports, and reliably develop timely correspondence related to work according to agency standards

    Must have the ability to work independently

    Flexible schedule, but must be able to work irregular hours when necessary to include some weekends

    Able to pass criminal background check

    Ability to work with others and provide guidance on how to perform their role in behavioral therapy plans

    Commitment to ongoing training and development

    Use critical thinking skills and creativity to solve problems and inspire action

    Active BCBA certification by the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB) REQUIRED upon hire

    In-depth knowledge of the BACB Code of Ethics

    Knowledge of policies and regulations within the clinical field

    At least 2 years of ABA supervisory experience (within 2-tier or 3-tier models)

    Position pay is flexible hourly $40-$45 an hour for part time or $80K - $87K for full time

    Position is hybrid partial in person and partial in person
