WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR:

We are looking for a challenge seeker with a passion for data to help us grow our Data Governance program at Ocean Spray. If you have a deep appreciation for efficiency and for getting things right up-front, this is the role for you! The ideal candidate will possess solid business acumen and the ability to evaluate processes and drive improvements. Self-motivation, strong organizational and prioritization skills, an ability to multi-task and attention to detail are just a few of the competencies that will lead to success in this role.

WHAT YOU WILL DO & WHAT YOU WILL LEARN:

In this role you will help drive forward data governance improvements by developing a deep understanding of business processes, identifying opportunities for fixing broken processes and ensuring quality data capture and maintenance. You will partner with business process subject matter experts across departments to create, document and maintain validation rules for automation. You will also work hand in hand with the Data Architecture team and other members of the Tech team as you gain knowledge of our end-to-end system design and build understanding of data elements and their lineage.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a B.S. or M.S. in either Business or an Analytical discipline – a combination of the two major/minor would be ideal (for example Data Science and Business)
• Strong project management skills
• Experience with SQL preferred
• Excellent verbal and written communications skills
• Ability to work independently when needed
• Strong “executive presence”

Additional Information

DURATION & LOCATION:

• Position will start on June 1, 2020 and run through December
• Traditional workweek with Summer Fridays (8:00am-12:30pm)
• Position is located at our corporate headquarters in Lakeville, MA (about 45 minutes South of Boston – Exit 6 off of Rte. 495)
