    Octagon Talent Solutions is seeking a highly skilled Schedule Engineer based in Fort Lauderdale to join our dynamic team. This unique role requires a candidate with substantial experience using Primavera P6 and a proven track record in managing commercial construction projects, including multifamily projects valued at $100M and above.     ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

    Evaluate actual construction progress and provide regular schedule updates.

    Maintain project schedule and identify and record the impact of work performed and not performed as scheduled.

    Incorporate resource and cost-loading data into schedules.

    Ensure that corporate planning and schedule standards are implemented and that all project-related activities comply.

    Read specifications and contract documents.

    Interface with operations, owners, and subcontractors to discuss the impact of work and resolution of problems.

    Must be able to travel and be able to assess the schedule update with the project teams.

    Other duties as assigned/required.

    QUALIFICATIONS & ABILITIES FOR POSITION:

    Bachelor’s degree in applicable discipline and at least 2-3 years of scheduling experience on large-scale construction projects.

    Strong Primavera P6 experience is required.

    Experience in 6 or more of the following markets are recommended but not limited to:

    Public Assembly, Entertainment, Criminal Justice, K-12, Higher Education, Healthcare/Laboratory, Hospitality, Office, Residential, Retail/Mixed Use, Transportation & Rail, Government, Industrial/Manufacturing, Historical, Solar, Aviation, and Marine.

    Must have excellent verbal/written communication skills and practical interpersonal skills.
