    We are currently looking for a Dealer Asset Recovery Specialist II to join Roadrunner's Servicing Center in Irving, Texas.  This is a tremendous opportunity to partner with us to build a best-in-class servicing organization for our growing portfolio of Powersports loans. 

    The Dealer Asset Recovery Specialist II will be responsible for collection, investigation, and/or monitoring of complex accounts while complying with all federal and state specific laws that regulate collections and servicing activities.  Along with these duties, this person will be responsible for managing the Aftermarket Refund Process, cancelling aftermarket products on all defaulted loans, or as required by state statutes, and follow the dealers for these refunds.

     

    RESPONSIBILITIES MAY INCLUDE DAY-TO-DAY TASKS INCLUDING:

    • Send NOI (Notice of Intent to Sell) letters on all repossessed skip units, including mailing and uploading docs to LoanPro (system of record) for retention purposes
    • Completing daily charge-off of account(s) at 120 days past due, or as directed, and assign account(s) to appropriate skip vendor for repossession
    • Preparing accounts to be assigned to 3rd party vendors
    • Handling Insurance claims (wrecked or stolen) along with deceased/estate claims as directed or in back-up capacity
    • Gathering of Legal/Replevin Documents
    • Releasing Titles and Paid in Full Reporting
    • Reviewing and completing 3rd party invoicing. 
    • Crediting  payments received from 3rd party to customer's accounts
    • Updating system of record as dictated by business or completed processes
    • Monitoring of deficiency accounts needing to be reviewed and outsourced
    • Assisting in 3rd Party Onboarding. 
    • Researching data issues.
    • Troubleshooting basic computer issues for the team; reports; navigation of system; process improvements

    The specialist will be expected to manage end-to-end business processes which may include multiple communications with the customer, attorney, insurance companies, and/or various other third parties.  The specialist will ensure robust processes are in place with regular reviews to determine each process is consistent, effective, efficient, and best-in-class.  The specialist should demonstrate confident leadership and sound judgement while assuring all tasks are carried out with a high degree of professionalism.  The purpose of this position is to effectively and efficiently manage the varying complexities and tasks required in the day-to-day operations while seeking to minimize the company's exposure to risk.

     

    REQUIREMENTS: 

    1. High school diploma or equivalent followed by a minimum two years of experience in financial services or similar industry or Associate degree or Bachelor's degree in business or related may be used as a proxy for experience. 
    2. Strong  computer skills to work in the company's system of record with ease; ability to offer scaled back IT assistance to the team.
    3. Capable of gathering consumer data from our system of record and successfully transmitting said data to varying vendor platforms with 100% accuracy and updating our system of record with location of accounts
    4. Able to communicate effectively with 3rd party IT personnel and determine root cause if transmission tasks fail or updates to 3rd party platforms needed
    5. Ability to solve difficult problems with effective solutions
    6. Basic understanding of auto finance/lending
    7. Excellent verbal and written communication skills along with the ability  to work well under pressure and continue to complete daily or regular tasks consistently.
    8. Able to work a flexible schedule which may include overtime, as needed
    9. Working knowledge of MS Word and Excel
    10. Detail oriented, have a solid ability to multitask, and aptitude for learning
    11. Customer Service attitude with strong problem solving skills
