A community Hospital north of the Washington, DC, in Maryland, is seeking medical technologists to join their team.

The role you will play

• Day and Night shifts available (7:30am - 4pm) (2:30pm - 11pm)
• Demonstrates a thorough knowledge of techniques, principals and instruments and their inter-relationships as well as the physiological conditions affecting test results required
• Performs QC and QA activities according to protocol of assigned section
• Prioritizes, organizes and re-organizes workload in response to STAT requests
• Performs and records quality control functions within specified time frames. Follows protocol for running controls and accepting/verifying results

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Medical Technology or a related field from an accredited institution
• MT (ASCP) or equivalent
• Generalist Experience to include: Hematology, Coagulation, Chemistry, Serology and Blood Bank required
• Experience in an acute care setting preferred
