    Director of Marketing Strategy & Insights

    Our team is composed of intelligent and hardworking individuals who work collaboratively to ensure creativity, quality, and diverse thought. Our company is experiencing substantial growth; We are seeking a Director of Marketing Strategy & Insights to focus on driving marketing strategy. This function is forward thinking in developing strategies that will deliver innovative approaches to solving society’s toughest and most complex challenges in public health, education, mental health, and early childhood.

    This person will lead team members while deconstructing issues, challenges, perform targeted research and analysis and craft sound, logical solutions and recommendations while serving as the key integrator across account, creative and digital teams. You will be tasked to oversee the development and execution of strategic plans in a complex and highly dynamic environment, effectively translate strategies to measurable goals and plans. The Director of Marketing Strategy & Insights will serve as a consultative partner to the account team to meet business and marketing objectives and be responsible for developing strategic and tactical plans for key project and campaign initiatives.

     

    What you’ll do

    • Maintain a comprehensive understanding of key customer needs, market trends, competitive landscapes, technology trends, industry trends, identification and assessment of significant growth opportunities.
    • Drive further in-depth analysis of audience behaviors, and utilize insights to target in a more impactful way.
    • Oversee business, industry, market and competitor analysis and identify standardized methods for bringing forth key insights to inform the marketing team.
    • Establish frameworks and templates for developing strategic and tactical plans with a digital first mindset
    • Manage and develop a high-performing strategy team by providing developmental opportunities.
    • Operate with a sense of urgency and quickly identify and remove roadblocks to drive results.
    • Recommends pilot programs and strategies for continued deployment.
    • Challenge status quo, identify trends, infuse fresh thinking and utilize data to develop high-impact strategies.
    • Propose opportunities to improve results based on continuous needs assessment.

     

    Requirements

    • 10+ years ad agency or similar experience (Some Ad Agency experience is a must)
    • Ability to think strategically and creatively
    • Ability to manage multiple deadlines while maintaining communication and attention to detail
    • Experience working collaboratively across all disciplines including: Creative, Strategy, Project Management, Analytics, Digital, Social, Traditional Media
    • Demonstrated leadership ability in fast paced agency environments with numerous stakeholders
    • Acute aesthetic awareness of global design, media, and marketing trends
    • An aptitude for analytics with the ability to uncover key insights regarding the project goals
    • Familiarity & experience with Adobe and Apple platforms/software to support the creative process
    • Master's or Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Strategy, or Creative Field
    • Ability to communicate quickly with leadership team, share ideas, and move forward with plans
