    ** _ Position Summary_**

    Ensures a safe and productive working environment. Optimizes the safety, reliability, and productivity of production machinery & equipment primarily through planned maintenance, repair, and improvements.

    ** ** Essential Functions** __**

    • Proactively uses mechanical, electrical, and effective communication skills for the maintenance, repair, and continuous improvement of machinery & equipment
    • Performs planned machinery & equipment maintenance to ensure safe, reliable, and productive operation
    • Troubleshoots problems/failures of automated machinery & equipment and initiates the repair
    • Uses powered hand tools, precision measuring devices, non-CNC machining, and welding equipment (under qualified supervision) to fabricate parts for the maintenance & reliability of machinery & equipment
    • Performs other maintenance & reliability activities as needed

    • Regularly required to stand, walk, lift and/or move up to 100 pounds, use hands (i.e., to finger, handle, or feel), talk, and hear.

    • Specific vision abilities required by this job include close and color vision.

  • Qualifications

    Qualifications

    Required :

    • High School Diploma or GED
    • 1-2 years maintenance or other related technical field
    • Knowledge of pneumatics, hydraulics, electrical, and operation of automated equipment

    Preferred:

    • Forklift and scissor lift certifications
    • Welding and machinery experience
    • Additional education and experience

    Hours:

    • This is a 2nd Shift (Evenings) full-time position with regular hours starting at 2:00pm and ending at 10:30pm, M-F (40 hours/week).
