    Family Law Attorney Needed - Must Live In New Jersey - 100% Remote PLEASE NOTE: Applicants must be licensed with 8 years of experience as a Family Law attorney or relevant work to be considered for this position. What You’ll Actually Do You’ll be Of Counsel, meaning you’re one of us, but have freedom. You’ll have a team. Support staff. Fellow lawyers. Actual systems. You’ll do real lawyering without all the nonsense. You’ll make court appearances, attend conferences, draft motions, and argue about property division and parenting schedules with grace. You’ll negotiate settlements and help people part ways with dignity. Responsibilities: • Prepare legal documents such as legal pleadings, motions, marital settlement agreements, contracts, judgments, and orders for a high volume of cases • Manage the division of marital assets, including real estate, during divorce proceedings when needed • Represent clients in court proceedings as needed • Keep client files properly organized and up to date • Advocate on behalf of clients by understanding their needs, effectively analyzing the situation, and forming a strategy for a plan of action • Work closely with your paralegal to ensure seamless communication to all stakeholders Qualifications: • A bachelor’s degree with a legal background and a J.D. degree are required • Great negotiation and communication skills, particularly in stressful and emotional situations • Must have at least 8 years of experience as a Family Law attorney or relevant work • Since we are remote, except for court hearings, you must be sufficiently self-motivated to perform your job remotely • Able to manage a caseload of 30-40 and keep moving the cases forward to completion • Strong history of successful litigation and satisfied clients
