We are looking for a part-time Maintenance Tech for our restaurant. As a Maintenance Tech, you will play a crucial role in keeping Off The Hook facilities safe and comfortable for customers and team members by conducting repairs and performing preventative maintenance, ensuring the safety and functionality of restaurant equipment and facilities.

Responsibilities

Travel to Off The Hook locations in Baton Rouge and surrounding areas to perform general maintenance and inspections of restaurant equipment and facilities, making repairs when necessary.

Inspect, operate, or test restaurant equipment to diagnose problems and determine how to correct them, checking repair manuals & parts catalogs, as necessary.

Install or replace machinery, equipment, and new or replacement parts and instruments, using hand or power tools.

Install and repair wiring, electrical or electronic components, machinery, or equipment.

Paint or repair windows, doors, floors, woodwork, plaster, drywall, or other parts of building structures.

Communicate appropriate information with the admin team to have parts ordered as needed.

Communicate with restaurant staff and leadership on proper cleaning/daily maintenance of equipment when necessary.

Requirements

Valid Drivers License (Required)

Competent in the use of hand and power tools (Required)

Understanding of basic electrical and mechanical systems (Required)

Ability to push, pull, lift, and carry objects that are more than 50 pounds (Required)

HVAC or Electrician education/certifications (Preferred)

Experience:

1 year of related experience required

Job Type: Part-time Salary: $12.00 - $16.00 per hour

Work Location: In-person. Hammond, Gonzales, and Baton Rouge restaurants.
