You will be in charge of developing our sales strategy and revenue objectives, training and assessing our sales employees, and ensuring that we create new and recurring business across various hotel sectors. Responsibilities: • Implement a strategic plan that aligns with revenue management and hotel objectives to assist the sales staff in meeting and exceeding room booking goals • Deliver previous and upcoming week's sales activity reports, as well as monthly sales expense reports, and meet with department managers to keep them up to date on all hotel sales-related expenses • Coordination with the management team and department heads in designing and implementing sales strategies to achieve high occupancy and profitability • Design a strategy to meet hotel financial goals, create marketing deliverables, and develop an annual sales forecast by analyzing market data • Generate new revenue by implementing a targeted outbound sales strategy, including personal calls within your network and phone, text, and emails to owners of real estate assets • Meet and engage with homeowners to discuss property purchases, building trust and rapport throughout the sales process • Train, develop, and lead the sales team on a daily basis, ensuring both team and individual targets are consistently met • Negotiate purchase contracts with homeowners and real estate agents, showcasing your exceptional sales skills and industry knowledge • Engage in proactive outbound prospecting, leveraging provided leads to convert opportunities into sales • Take full ownership of achieving revenue targets on a quarterly basis, employing innovative approaches and strategies • Attend networking events to expand your client base and establish valuable connections • Implement out-of-office marketing and sales development activities to drive brand awareness and attract new prospects • Maintain a comprehensive Salesforce database of prospects, ensuring accurate and up-to-date information • Provide daily reports on sales activities to management, keeping them informed of progress and challenges • Recruit, hire, and shape the sales team to align with company objectives and culture Qualifications: • 5+ years of experience in sales, preferably in the hospitality field, is required • We prefer someone with prior hospitality experience but is not required • Strong analytical skills, communication skills, and leadership skills • A high school diploma or equivalent (GED) is required, with a bachelor's degree in a relevant field • Proficient in basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office or Google Drive • Demonstrates a proven track record of sales success through effective lead generation and closing strategies. • Excellent leadership skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a team towards achieving targets • Strong communication skills, enabling you to effectively assess sales performance and communicate insights • Embraces a growth mindset, continuously seeking opportunities for personal and professional development • Experience in Business-to-consumer sales is a plus • Only available for candidates located within daily commuting distance of Boise, ID. No relocation package is offered at this time Compensation: $90,000 - $300,000 per year
