    We're searching for a friendly, motivated, outgoing customer service standout. The work is not hard, but your customers and coworkers will be depending on you. This is a great job if you are self-motivated, organized, and have a high attention to detail. We have a small office that could use a little streamlining and an individual with high standards to maintain and keep it organized. Procedures and processes are fairly well documented, and your coworkers can be counted on to be welcoming and help with any onboarding hurdles that may be encountered. We were fortunate to have a couple of excellent individuals who took us back almost 20 years, and now we are hoping for a long-term team player to help build our organization well into the future. Responsibilities: Clerical and Office Support • Answer and direct calls, take messages • Greet customers • Maintain and keep organized filing systems (paper and electronic) Document and Data Management • Draft, edit, and proofread email correspondence and reports • Maintain databases, contact lists, and records • Handle incoming and outgoing mail and packages Financial and Purchasing Support • Track office and shop supply inventory and place orders as needed • Pay customers • Track inbound and outgoing loads for income Communication and Liaison Work • Act as a point of contact for customers and co-workers through phone, email, and in-person interactions • Relay messages and ensure timely follow-up General Office Operations • Maintain office cleanliness and organization • Support special projects and events as assigned Qualifications: • Enjoys talking with customers and can communicate through verbal and written channels • High school diploma or GED required • Shows ability to quickly finish very detailed work • Proficient in basic computer software and can quickly learn to use new programs • Shows ability to learn new skills and information quickly • Customer service experience is preferred Compensation: $16 - $19 hourly
