    Overview

    We are seeking a detail-oriented, highly organized Office Administrative Assistant to provide high-level administrative and operational support to our team here at Sequoyah.

    This is a non-exempt, non-bargaining position that will be part of our Support Services team. It is based out of our Redmond, WA headquarters and is a fully in-office role. Our office is open from 6am-5pm; team members have flexibility with their daily work schedule, based on their needs and the needs of their team and the work.

    Responsibilities

    As the Office Administrative Assistant , you will play a pivotal role in supporting the needs of our office by providing administrative assistance across the core areas of support services including office, facility needs, accounting, events, and human resources.

    Responsibilities for this role include:

    • Overseeing the day-to-day operations of the office environment to ensure it is functional, well-maintained, and supports employee productivity.
    • Monitoring and ordering inventory for office and kitchen supplies
    • Managing front desk responsibilities including welcoming visitors and ensuring guests are connected with the right office personnel
    • Assisting in maintaining a clean and organized office environment
    • Answering phone calls and transferring callers as appropriate
    • Handling incoming and outgoing mail, packages and deliveries
    • Assisting with data entry, record-keeping, and database management tasks
    • Supporting HR functions including onboarding processes for new employees, maintaining accurate employee records and workspace setup
    • Assisting with planning and coordinator of company charitable and volunteer events
    • Assisting with special projects and support various teams as needed

    Qualifications

    The ideal candidate will have some level of experience in administrative support, office coordination, or customer service. Previous experience in construction, electrical engineering or similar industry is preferred, but not required. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suites is needed.

    Success in this role requires the ability to effectively collaborate with diverse stakeholders and navigate multiple tasks and projects concurrently, including the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple deadlines.

    Compensation

    Hourly Rate Range: $24.00 – 32.00 per hour, depending on previous experience and skills
