Location: 118 Colorado Ave, La Junta CO FLSA Status: Non-Exempt Employment Type: Part-time (20 hours / week) Compensation: $15-$20 per hour depending on experience
Position Summary: The La Junta Office Administrator plays a vital role in the daily operations of our La Junta office. This position is responsible for ensuring smooth office functioning by handling administrative tasks, managing supplies, coordinating events, and overseeing the company’s social media presence. The ideal candidate is organized, proactive, and capable of managing multiple responsibilities with professionalism and creativity.
Key Responsibilities: Administrative & Office Support Manage use of a company credit card and necessary on-line accounts. Order, stock, and maintain office supplies and equipment, ensuring cost-effective purchasing and inventory control. Serve as the local point of contact for vendors and service providers related to office operations. Greet and assist real estate brokers, clients and staff entering building. Maintain an organized, professional and clean office environment. Other administrative duties as assigned. Event Coordination Plan, coordinate, and execute in-office events such as client appreciation gatherings, staff celebrations, and holiday parties. Organize company participation in community events such as parades, festivals, and networking functions, including logistics, registration, and promotion. Provide on-site support for planning, coordination and execution of weekly office meetings.
Collaborate with agents and staff to ensure active participation and smooth execution of all events. Social Media & Marketing Create and manage engaging content for the office’s social media platforms, including Facebook and LinkedIn, as well as on-site displays Collaborate with agents to highlight listings, achievements, community involvement, and office culture. Stay current with real estate marketing trends and platform updates to enhance visibility and engagement. Monitor analytics to assess campaign effectiveness and adjust strategies accordingly. General Office Communication Serve as the initial point of contact for phone and in-person inquiries, providing friendly and professional assistance. Process office mail/email and distribute internal communications and updates to agents and staff, to include coordination and publishing of a weekly floor-time schedule. Assist with the local onboarding of new agents, providing them with office resources and orientation support.
Qualifications: Strong written and verbal communication skills. Excellent organizational and time management abilities. Creative, energetic and skilled in event planning and social engagement. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a dynamic environment.
