Office Administrator / Purchase Order Manager/ Accounts Receivable /Accounts Payable / Website development.
Skandinavia Contemporary Interiors is seeking to fill an important role in our organization with a person that has experience with both general office procedures ie. responsible for generation, tracking, receiving purchase orders, as well as experience with Canva and Website maintenance.
The job is about 50% Office Procedures and 50% Website maintenance and development. The individual chosen for this position will be invaluable asset who is critical to the success of the organization.

The Office person we are seeking will be responsible for the following activities:
Purchase Order Processing generates, properly prices, track and receive purchase orders. *A heavy emphasis is placed on the flow of purchase orders pricing, tracking, pro-active follow-up with vendors and sales/design team.
Accounts Receivable (AR) including the receipt, organization, and file of payments from customers, entering data into our accounting system, reconciliation of discrepancies, collections, bank runs, aging AR metrics, audit confirmations, and other AR-related tasks.
Website updating and maintaining our website utilizing Canva to size pictures to fit our websites aesthetics and continually work on expanding and updating our website.
Shopify Utilize established Standards of Practice to upload new products and update existing products as needed in Shopify
Use Canva, Adobe, image compressors, and other software as needed to edit images and create spec sheets for products
Use ChatGPT to generate and format product descriptions, revising and editing passages generated by AI for accuracy and brand voice
Use available information and software to independently problem-solve and develop an efficient workflow
Skills Needed
Microsoft Excel/Google Sheets literacy - ability to find, write, and use spreadsheet formulas, spreadsheet formatting skills.
Strong organizational skills
Self-starter with critical thinking and problem-solving skills
Language Learning Models - comfortable using generative AI; able to spot and correct inaccuracies in LLM responses
Data entry - ability to accurately enter large amounts of information in several data fields.
Required Skills
Self-managed, organized, good phone and email communications
Proficient understanding of Full Cycle Accounting
A certain degree of creativity and latitude is required
Excellent follow-up skills
Must be hands-on, detail-oriented and enjoy working in a fast-paced and rapidly growing company
Desired Experience and Education
An Associate’s or equivalent.
Computer Skills including advanced level Microsoft Office products, Canva

Compensation
This position offers a 9-5:30 work schedule, vacation, a positive and casual work environment starting at $20.00 per hour. This position works with a team of professionals in a friendly environment.
