Job Summary
We are seeking a part-time office Admin/Receptionist to join our Sylvan Learning Center. In this role, you will coordinate all administrative duties and office procedures, ensuring the workplace operates smoothly and efficiently. Your responsibilities will include checking in students, maintaining and updating student records, answering and questions for parents and other day to day activities of the Learning Center. The ideal candidate is highly organized with excellent verbal and written communication skills and comfortable with technology. The position requires the candidate to be at the Sylvan Center from 3pm-730pm on Certain Weekdays and Sat Mornings.
Responsibilities
Directing incoming and outgoing students
Assisting teachers with materials and students
Updating lesson plans and testing schedules for students
Answering any inquiries and providing parents with any needed information.
Proctoring student tests updating results
Qualifications
High school diploma/GED required, some college preferred
Understanding of office equipment, systems, and procedures
Skilled in Microsoft Office, Excel, and Outlook
Excellent time management skills and ability to prioritize multiple tasks
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
