Chester County Fuel is growing—and we’re looking for a full-time Customer Service Representative/Office Assistant to join our centrally located Malvern office. As the first point of contact for many of our valued customers, you’ll play a critical role in ensuring they receive prompt, helpful, and friendly service. You’ll handle everything from scheduling fuel deliveries to managing customer accounts, all while keeping our operations running smoothly. Responsibilities: • Fielding incoming calls from an active phone system and assisting customers by determining their needs, taking care of their requests, or passing calls to the appropriate person in the office if unable to help • Scheduling fuel deliveries and occasional service appointments • Administer yearly oil price protection programs • Service contract renewal and invoicing • Accounts receivable/assisting customers paying invoices • Setting up new customer accounts • Spearheading special projects, managing projects from start to finish, and working collaboratively with both internal staff and vendors • Database management, including routine and ad hoc report generation • Other duties as assigned Qualifications: • HVAC experience is a plus • High school diploma • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with strong attention to detail • Superior interpersonal and customer service ability with a positive, encouraging attitude • Problem-solving and flexible with the ability to balance multiple tasks • Ability to thoroughly field customer phone calls in rapid succession • Swift/accurate typing skills • Computer savvy, fast learner • Willing to suggest changes to processes and procedures in order to increase efficiency • Proficiency in MS Office suite of products, particularly Excel and Word Compensation: $45,700 - $52,000
