Job Title: Office Assistant II (44265)
Job Locations: Virginia Beach, VA 23456
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00am – 4:30pm
Payrate: $16.33/hr
Job Duties:
The duties and responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Daily support clinical administrative functions such as scheduling, charting, and processing medical documents for ADA, FML, PHE, RTW, and vaccinations and medical notes from patient's treating providers.
- Provide responses to the City Attorney's Office, FOIA, Workers Comp,and Auditors Office for records requests and information regarding cases they are investigating or are managing.
- Act as front-desk receptionist for Occupational Health, Safety and Environmental Compliance office. This position answers a great deal of phone calls and responds to a large volume of emails
Minimum/Special/Additional Requirements:
- High school or GED plus one year (1) of experience in fields providing the required knowledge, skills and abilities, such as clerical or office assistant; or any equivalent combination of experience and training which provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities.
- Passing score on a typing test may be required.
