    Position Overview

    KY-SPIN, Inc. is seeking a positive, outgoing, and approachable self-starter with a strong work ethic to join our team as a Part-Time Office Assistant. This role is ideal for someone who thrives on organization, has excellent communication skills, and enjoys supporting leadership with both day-to-day administrative needs.

    Key Responsibilities

    ● Provide professional and compassionate customer service by answering and directing phone calls, emails, and inquiries.

    ● Manage calendars, schedule meetings/appointments and support administration and staff.

    ● Assist with required documentation and recordkeeping with accuracy and attention to detail.

    ● Support office operations, including organizing files, duplicating, tracking deadlines, and maintaining efficient workflows.

    ● Act as a liaison between executives, staff, and external partners.

    ● Handle sensitive information with discretion and confidentiality.

    ● Other duties as assigned

    Position Requirements

    ● Positive, outgoing, and approachable self-starter with a strong work ethic.

    ● Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; able to interact professionally with diverse individuals.

    ● Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) and Google Docs/Sheets.

    ● Outstanding organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize.

    ● Customer service experience; compassionate and professional when assisting others.

    ● Comfortable answering calls, scheduling, and managing multiple administrative tasks efficiently.

    ● High attention to detail and accuracy in completing documentation.

    Preferred Experience

    ● Prior experience in a similar role.

    ● Experience supporting leadership or working in a nonprofit/educational environment.

    Prerequisites

    ● This is a peer support customer service position: Must be an individual with a disability, or a parent/caregiver/immediate family member of someone with a disability

    ● Kentucky resident

    ● Standard high school diploma or GED required

    ● Must be able to pass a background screening

    ● Must have reliable transportation
