Sansom Staffing has partnered with a premier hearing aid company that specializes in providing solutions for individuals with hearing loss. We have an opportunity for a contract to hire office assistant/receptionist at our Yeagertown, PA location.
Position Details

- Hours: 8 AM - 4 PM, Monday - Friday
- Pay: $16.50/hour
- We need someone to start Monday 5/5
- A background check is required
Responsibilities
- Greet each patient and potential patient in a positive, engaging and professional manner.
- Recognize opportunities and ask appropriate needs-based questions to provide extraordinary customer service to create patient loyalty.
- Schedule and confirm appointments while coordinating with the Specialist's schedule according to guidelines.
- Ensure the smooth and efficient flow of patient care using customer service skills and must be adept at word processing and database management skills.
- Check patients in and out, collect and record payments, track revenue and perform accounting activities to include petty cash reconciliation, end of day close, bank deposits, posting of charges, entering invoices, payments, and insurance contract information. Balance accounts daily and monthly.
- Perform minor hearing aid repairs as allowed by state law such as battery door and receiver checks—clean tips, specula, etc.
- Ensure the reception and waiting areas are well maintained.
Qualifications:
- Must be detail-oriented and demonstrate strong interpersonal communication skills, especially on the phone.
- Telemarketing, prospecting, and retail experience is preferred. Calls will be made to current patients and warm leads.
- High School Diploma
- We are open to applicants from the following industries: Customer service, office management, and receptionist.
