Duties

Perform thorough cleaning of floors, windows, restrooms, offices, and common areas using appropriate cleaning tools and supplies

Conduct janitorial tasks such as trash removal, dusting, sweeping, mopping, and disinfecting surfaces to ensure hygiene standards are met

Maintain and operate floor care equipment including buffers and polishers to keep flooring in excellent condition

Assist with custodial responsibilities like replenishing supplies and ensuring restrooms are stocked and sanitized regularly

Support facilities maintenance by reporting any repairs needed or safety hazards identified during cleaning routines

Follow health and safety guidelines to ensure a clean environment that complies with all regulations

Experience

Prior janitorial or custodial experience is highly preferred; familiarity with commercial or industrial cleaning is a plus

Experience with floor care techniques such as buffing, stripping, sealing, and polishing

Knowledge of facilities maintenance practices.

Previous porter or maintenance roles that involved cleaning and building upkeep are advantageous

Strong attention to detail with excellent time management skills to complete tasks efficiently during daytime hours
