    [DIRECT HIRE] OFFICE MANAGER | OVERLAND PARK, KS |

    We are searching for an Office Manager to support a Kansas City-area general contracting firm specializing in commercial construction projects.

    • Anticipate $65K-$80K annual base salary

    • Office-based, M-F, 8am-5pm (some flexibility if needed)

    Responsibilities:

    • Manage office operations: Supplies stocking, technology setup, compliance (COIs, audits, insurance renewals).
    • Provide accounting support: QuickBooks tracking, payables/receivables, payroll admin, 1099 preparation, pay applications, lien waivers.
    • Handle HR: Onboarding, PTO management, employee files, performance reviews, benefits coordination, terminations.
    • Serve as receptionist: Greet clients, answer calls, sort mail, prepare beverages/lunches.
    • Support executives/PMs: Schedule management, meeting notes, PROCORE document filing, bid tracking, submittals, event planning.
    • Assist marketing: CRM lists, social media, client gifts, SWAG management.

    Qualifications:

    • High school diploma required; Associate's/Bachelor's in business/admin preferred.
    • 2+ years in professional small office setting (construction, accounting, legal, banking).
    • Strong interpersonal/customer service skills; professional appearance and positive attitude.
    • Proficiency in MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel) and QuickBooks.
    • Experience in HR, accounting support, and project admin preferred.
    • Willingness to complete PROCORE certification and become Notary Public.
    • Excellent organizational skills and adaptability.
