    Lake County Oral Surgery is seeking an experienced and organized Office Manager to join their team in Gurnee, IL. This key role ensures the smooth operation of the office while providing a welcoming and professional experience for patients. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in dental office management, including scheduling, patient communication, insurance verification, billing, and administrative oversight. This person will also lead and support the front office team, helping maintain efficient workflows and high-quality patient care.

    Schedule for the Dental Office Manager:

    • Monday - Friday: 8AM - 5PM

    • Saturday: 8AM - 1PM (1-2 a month)

    Responsibilities and Requirements of the Dental Office Manager:

    • Minimum of 3 years of experience in dental office management.

    • Check patients in and out of the practice efficiently and professionally.

    • Plan and manage dental business operations to ensure excellent patient support and satisfaction.

    • Oversee daily office activities, providing direction and guidance to staff as needed.

    • Organize and present payment schedules to patients clearly and accurately.

    • Open the office in the mornings and ensure smooth start-of-day operations.

    • Maintain communication with referral offices and other external contacts.

    • Manage and maintain doctors’ schedules.

    • Ensure patient records are securely stored and comply with privacy and security regulations.

    • Possess an upbeat, friendly personality with a strong growth mindset.

    • Strong experience in insurance verifications, claim submissions, billing, and accounts receivable (AR).

    • Experience leading and developing a successful dental office team.
