About the Role:
Jay's Chevrolet in Wauseon, OH is looking for a driven and detail-oriented Office Manager to keep our dealership running smoothly behind the scenes. This is a key leadership role where you'll be at the heart of our operations, supporting a high-energy automotive team. Responsibilities:
Oversee daily dealership office operations, including accounting, billing, and financial reporting
Manage accounts payable and receivable, ensuring accuracy and timely processing
Reconcile dealership accounts and assist with month-end and year-end closings
Supervise and support administrative and clerical staff
Ensure compliance with dealership policies, manufacturer guidelines, and regulatory requirements
Process payroll and maintain employee records in coordination with HR functions
Coordinate with department managers to streamline office workflows and communication
Manage title and tag processing, deal funding, and DMV documentation
Requirements:
Prior experience in automotive dealership office management or dealership accounting strongly preferred
Proficiency in dealership management software (CDK, Reynolds & Reynolds, or similar)
Strong knowledge of automotive accounting principles and financial controls
Experience with title processing, deal funding, and DMV paperwork
Excellent organizational, leadership, and multitasking skills
Strong communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally with sales, service, and finance teams
Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business, or related field preferred
