Job Summary
We are seeking an Office Manager/Customer Service Manager to join our team. In this role, you will coordinate all administrative duties and office procedures, ensuring the workplace operates smoothly and efficiently. Handling customer phone calls/emails/walk in customers, placing order, data entry, making sure the system database stays up to date, issuing invoices, processing and applying payments, and more. Office management includes; maintaining office equipment, ordering supplies, etc. The ideal candidate is highly organized, time management skills, seklf starter, quick learner, computer savvy, with excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to implement systems and procedures, and has outstanding customer service skills.
We are an almost 80 year old family owned company, and distributor of cleaning, janitorial and maintenance supplies, looking for someone to fill this roll and join our company long term. We offer benefits, and perks. We have an office located in Hermosa, and the job is Monday-Friday 7:30am-4pm.
Responsibilities
Highly organized and efficient
Collaborate with small team in office and sales reps, and maintain office procedures
Maintain office equipment in good working order with the assistance of the IT department
Negotiate contracts and pricing with vendors and service providers
Accurately maintain general office budget
Qualifications
Experienced individual with some college preferred
Previous experience as an Office Manager or similar position preferred
Understanding of office equipment, systems, and procedures
Skilled in Microsoft Office, Excel, and Outlook
Excellent time management skills and ability to prioritize multiple tasks
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
