Household Furniture Co. is hiring a Office Manager to work in our newest showroom in Las Cruces. Our Office Manager is responsible for supporting sales associates, customers, customer service associates and store management, processing payments and finance applications, answering delivery questions, assisting with customer care responsibilities, answering phones, and various other office duties as assigned.

Office Manager
Key Responsibilities: Cashiering & Customer Transactions
Oversee all cashiering transactions, returns, and exchanges with accuracy and efficiency
Ensure excellent customer service is provided at the front counter, both in person and on the phone
Reconcile daily cash drawers and prepare bank deposits
Create credit memos as needed
Maintain and enforce cash handling policies and procedures
Train and coach office staff on POS system and customer interaction standards
Sales Support
Act as a liaison between sales staff and the front office to streamline the transaction process
Assist sales associates in executing the financing process including reviewing paperwork and answering questions about the various banks
Support the sales team in providing a smooth, professional, and efficient customer experience
Financing Support
Assist in preparing and processing credit applications and financing paperwork
Communicate with third-party financing partners or internal credit department as needed
Ensure compliance with all financing policies and record-keeping regulations
Verify in-house credit applications - confirm information, call references, etc.
Office Administration
Maintain adequate stock of office and operational supplies; manage supply ordering and inventory
Keep customer files, records, and transaction documents well-organized and secure
Handle general office correspondence, documentation, and filing
Work closely with store leadership to ensure front office processes support overall store operations
Work with customers to set up service requests in person or over the phone as needed
Coordinate incoming transfers and pickups with warehouse and decorating staff
Schedule customer deliveries as needed
Team Leadership
Supervise and schedule front office team members
Provide training, feedback, and performance evaluations
Ensure daily coverage and effective workflow within the office team
