    We are seeking a motivated person that possesses a few skillsets to support a couple of our executive team members. This position is hourly and will be expected to work in office about 25-30 hours per week.

    Accounting ~ (40%)

    Accounts Payable & Vendor Administration

    Review, code, and process vendor invoices for payment.

    Maintain vendor records, W-9 documentation, and payment terms.

    Reconcile vendor statements and resolve billing discrepancies.

    Assist with weekly check runs and electronic payment processing.

    Accounts Receivable Support

    Generate customer invoices and monitor outstanding balances.

    Assist with collections and customer account inquiries.

    Apply customer payments and maintain accurate AR records.

    General Accounting Support

    Perform monthly account reconciliations for assigned balance sheet accounts.

    Assist with month-end and year-end close processes.

    Prepare journal entries and maintain supporting documentation.

    Maintain organized accounting records in accordance with company policies.

    Human Resources Management ~ (30%)

    Talent Acquisition & Recruitment

    Manage full-cycle recruiting, including job postings, candidate screening, interviewing, hiring, and onboarding.

    Partner with department managers to identify staffing needs and workforce planning requirements.

    Coordinate background checks, employment documentation, and new hire orientation.

    Employee Relations

    Serve as the primary point of contact for employee concerns and HR-related inquiries.

    Foster a positive, inclusive, and productive workplace culture.

    Support conflict resolution and performance management processes.

    Compensation, Benefits, Compliance & Policy Management

    Administer employee benefits programs and annual enrollment processes.

    Coordinate payroll information with finance and payroll providers.

    Assist with salary benchmarking and compensation planning.

    Maintain compliance with federal, state/provincial, and local employment laws.

    Develop, update, and communicate HR policies and employee handbook content.

    Manage employee records and ensure confidentiality of personnel information.

    Training & Development

    Coordinate employee training, professional development, and performance review programs.

    Support leadership development initiatives and employee engagement activities

    Office Administration Management ~ (30%)

    Office Operations

    Oversee daily office operations to ensure efficiency and professionalism.

    Manage office procedures, systems, and administrative workflows.

    Develop and implement operational improvements where needed.

    Facilities Management

    Coordinate office maintenance, vendor relationships, and facility services.

    Ensure workplace safety standards and office functionality are maintained.

    Manage office space planning and equipment needs.

    Vendor & Contract Management

    Maintain relationships with office suppliers, service providers, and external vendors.

    Negotiate contracts and manage administrative service agreements.

    Monitor vendor performance and service quality.

    Executive & Administrative Support

    Support senior management with administrative coordination as needed.

    Assist with corporate events, meetings, company communications, and special projects.

    Ensure effective records management and document retention practices.

    Purchasing office supplies and managing facilities and storage warehouses.

    Qualifications

    Education

    Degree in human resources, Business Administration, Management, or a related field preferred.

    Professional HR designation (SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, CHRP, or equivalent) is considered an asset.

    Experience

    Minimum 5 years of progressive experience in Human Resources and/or Office Administration.

    Previous management or supervisory experience preferred.

    Experience managing employee relations, recruitment, and office operations.
