    Office Manager – Job Summary

    The General Manager is responsible for leading all aspects of agency operations, ensuring the delivery of high-quality home care services in alignment with company standards, regulatory requirements, and client satisfaction. This role combines care management, sales and marketing, recruitment and HR, and scheduling functions to support both clients and caregivers.

    Key Responsibilities

    Care Management

    • Conduct client assessments, develop written care plans, and oversee service delivery.
    • Supervise caregivers to ensure compliance with care plans, infection control, and safety procedures.
    • Perform in-home visits, reassessments, and provide training as needed.
    • Maintain accurate client records and documentation in line with agency policies. Sales & Community Outreach
    • Generate referrals by building strong relationships with hospitals, skilled nursing facilities, rehab centers, senior centers, and other community partners.
    • Attend networking events and represent the agency professionally.
    • Track and report sales activities, meet referral goals, and identify new growth opportunities.

    Recruitment & HR

    • Recruit, interview, and orient caregivers to maintain an adequate staffing pool.
    • Manage personnel files, ensure compliance with background checks, licensure, and ongoing training.
    • Conduct performance evaluations, disciplinary actions, and caregiver retention initiatives.

    Scheduling & Operations

    • Match caregivers to clients based on skills, availability, and service needs.
    • Monitor schedules, overtime, shift coverage, and caregiver satisfaction.
    • Respond to staffing issues and client needs during and after business hours.

    Minimum Qualifications

    • 2+ years of experience in home care, home health, or related field.
    • Reliable transportation, valid driver’s license, and insurance.
    • Strong written/verbal communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
    • Ability to supervise staff, evaluate performance, and advocate for clients.
    • Must present a professional image, pass a background check, and demonstrate compassion for seniors.

    • Travel: Required for client visits and community events
