    The clinic office manager possesses a high level of leadership within the clinical setting. To fill a clinic manager position, you must be able to succeed in all roles in the clinic. Responsibilities: • Required to assist in onboarding and train new employees • Provide mentorships for all employees • Evaluates all staff members for scheduled reviews. Takes actions in the improvement plan to create a better working environment. • Notifies physicians of changes in schedule, especially in emergencies. • Oversees all clinic roles and addresses team education. • Ability to fill all positions within the clinic: technician and scribe abilities • Manage clinic inventory • Keep reliable records of all medications • Communications with Physicians as well as the front desk regarding clinic schedule changes, which may include surgeries • Oversees all patient communication with staff • Manages an accurate record of attendance for staff • Communications with Medical Liaisons for training and new medications • Attends all meetings • Follows all MIPS guidelines and ensures all charts are completed in a timely manner • Ensures the clinic runs as professionally, proficiently, and accurately as possible • Driving a company-provided vehicle, which may hold employees and office equipment • Assist with maintaining an efficient clinic experience • Assisting physicians with ophthalmic procedures • Maintaining medical/surgical supplies • Utilize EHR with all HIPAA standards • Reliability is a top priority • Ability to master ophthalmology and retina terminology with a basic understanding of healthcare terminology • Must be able to multitask • Possess high energy, have a positive & professional attitude • Strong communication skills with a team player approach • Critical time management skills • Demonstrated ability to interact with healthcare professionals, patients, and insurance companies alike with poise and proper etiquette • Adhere to ongoing training and education • Demonstrate effectiveness by showing courtesy, diligence, integrity, and teamwork • Strong interpersonal skills (effective listening, clear communication, effective customer problem resolution, warm demeanor) • Willing to train • Ability to lift more than 30lbs • Ability to converse with patients – speaking and hearing • Frequent use of a computer terminal, keyboard, and mouse • Manual dexterity to operate ophthalmic equipment Qualifications: • Minimum of 6 months of experience as an Ophthalmic Technician • Minimum of 6 months of experience as an Ophthalmic Scribe • Must be willing to travel to Lake City, Little River, and Murrells Inlet Compensation: $30 - $35 per year
