We are looking for a dedicated and organized Office Manager to join our team and help us maintain our high standards of operation.
Job Summary: The Office Manager will oversee the daily administrative operations of our millwork facility. This role requires a proactive individual with excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently. The Office Manager will be responsible for ensuring the smooth running of the office and supporting the management team.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage and oversee daily office operations, including scheduling, correspondence, and filing.
Coordinate with suppliers, customers, and internal departments to ensure timely and accurate order processing.
Handle invoicing and other financial transactions.
Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations.
Provide administrative support to the management team as needed.
Manage office supplies and equipment, ensuring they are well-stocked and maintained.
Address and resolve any office-related issues or concerns.
Handle sales transactions at the cash counter, assist customers with their purchases, and provide excellent customer service.
Answer incoming calls, direct them to the appropriate departments, and provide information to callers.
Accurately enter customer orders into the system and ensure timely processing.
Qualifications:
Proven experience in an administrative role.
Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
Familiarity with office management procedures and basic accounting principles.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
High school diploma; additional qualifications in a relevant field is a plus.
Proficiency in Spanish is a plus.
Preferred Skills:
Experience in the millwork or lumber and building materials industry.
Knowledge of inventory management software.
