    Job Summary

    We are seeking a skilled and dedicated individual to join our team as a Physical Therapy Office Manager. As the office manager, you will play an essential role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our Physical Therapy clinic. You will oversee administrative tasks, manage staff schedules, coordinate patient appointments, handle billing and insurance questions, and maintain a welcoming and organized environment for both patients and staff. The ideal candidate is highly organized with excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to implement systems and procedures.

    Responsibilities

    Maintain a welcoming and professional demeanor in all interactions with patients, visitors, and staff.

    Manage day-to-day administrative tasks such as answering phones, responding to emails, and handling correspondence.

    Develop and implement office policies and procedures to ensure efficient operations.

    Schedule patient appointments and manage the appointment calendar to optimize patient flow.

    Greet patients, collect necessary paperwork, and verify insurance information.

    Coordinate with therapists to ensure patient care.

    Handle insurance benefits verification and pre-authorization.

    Coordinate with our off-site billing department on patient bills.

    Provide exceptional customer service to patients by addressing inquiries, resolving concerns, and ensuring a positive experience.

    Qualifications

    High school diploma/GED required, some college degree preferred

    Previous experience as an Office Manager or similar position preferred. Previous experience in a healthcare setting or physical therapy practice optimal.

    Strong organizational and multitasking skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.

    Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, with a focus on customer service.

    Excellent time management skills and ability to prioritize multiple tasks

    Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail

    Excellent verbal and written communication skills

    Proficiency in office software applications
