What Type of Work Would You Be Completing?

Floor Care Cleaning Technician is responsible for the floor care services provided to their assigned account(s), according to company instruction and standards. This position will take direction from and have their work inspected by the Lead and/or the Operations Manager. Tasks may include a combination of the following:

Ability to perform hard floor care maintenance in accordance with Office Pride standards, including, but not limited to:

Strip/waxing,

Scrub and recoat,

Buffing,

Bonnet carpet cleaning,

Extraction carpet cleaning.

Ability to perform general cleaning duties as outlined in the account specifications and in accordance with Office Pride cleaning procedures. These tasks include, but are not limited to:

Sweep or vacuum and damp mop hard surface floors and vacuum carpeted floors,

Operate and maintain equipment, such as vacuum cleaners,

Dust work surfaces, other furniture, and other horizontal and vertical surfaces,

Clean restrooms, including: toilets, urinals, partitions, sinks, counters, mirrors, floors and walls,

Replenish restroom dispensers with paper products and soap,

Clean entrance glass and other interior glass,

Remove trash from containers and replace torn or soiled liners.

Ability to lift up to 35 lbs.

Physical ability to be on your feet during an entire shift; walking, bending, stooping, twisting, reaching, pulling, pushing, kneeling, and crouching.

Possession of a valid driver's license and reliable transportation to get to and from work.
